The History of Business Improvement Group

The Business Improvement Group, Inc. was incorporated in 2002. Co–founders Jim Bonvissuto and Patti Sours wanted to bring their executive level finance, operations, and turnaround experience at various fortune 500 companies to small and middle market companies at an affordable level.

Since Business Improvement Group’s inception, Bonvissuto and Sours have successfully participated in projects ranging from implementation and execution of turnaround plans, interim COO and CFO, court appointed receiver, re-financing , debt restructuring, sales and divestitures of businesses, acquisitions, sale of real estate , forensic accounting, and other value added projects. They are seasoned veterans of crisis management which is another valued service offering to their clients.
